AlphaTag ‘Lapis’ is a navy blue leather pet name tag handcrafted with double-sided vegetable-tanned leather. The dual color combination can be combined with either tan or vintage brown on the reverse side. Its quiet and lightweight material hangs comfortably on your pet’s collar. It can be attached with a rugged leather string that easily snaps apart when forcefully pulled. Along with the suppleness of the leather which allows it to bend under stress, the risk of freak accidents is minimized. It is also bundled with an optional stainless ball chain as an alternative to the provided leather string.
Method of personalization can either be blind deboss for a deep and durable finish, or gold/silver monogram for a sophisticated look and legibility.

Personalization Guide
The AlphaTag is made of back-to-back leather. This allows it to stand out more in style for the possibility of dual-color variations. All you have to do is type in the text/number in the text box of whichever side you prefer it to be engraved on. Please note that it is both space and case-sensitive.

How durable it is when worn every day by our dog or cat?
We've been in the leather pet collar business for over 3 years and our products have undergone over dozen iterations to improve their daily practical use all over the world in cold and tropical climates. This led us to our proprietary top-coating spray that makes it stain and water-proof. Can't believe it? See for yourself how we stained an AlphaCollar with ketchup then rinsed it with water as if nothing happened.
Is it ok if the leather accessory gets wet?
Yes, just like any other leather products such as shoes or bags, our leather pet accessories unavoidably get wet. While our leather accessories are top-coated with stain and water-proof coating to keep off occasional splashes of water from penetrating the leather, soaking wet leather is not always a great idea.
That is why soaking wet leather happens rarely! We're sure your dog has another collar for swimming or taking a bath, that is if they wear a collar at all for that purpose. Just imagine wearing your favorite shoes to the shower instead of your bathroom rubber slippers is not normal. You know what we mean. 😉
If that rare instance happens though, don't worry. A soaking wet leather can still be preserved as long as you take immediate care.
